Previous Carpenters left no barrier between concrete and wood. The wood used was not pressure treated.

zinc1.jpg

We rebuilt them by using 12 by 2 pressure treated wood with zinc plated steel
at the bottom, keeping wood off the ground. Held in place by 8 to 10 concrete anchored nails and 4 large carriage bolts
on the sides of the angled steel.
